General Manager for Germany - Gastroenterology

A well-known pharmaceutical company is currently looking for a General Manager to establish their business in Germany. My client specialises in Gastroenterology, and has a few products on the market already (currently working through distributors on the German market), so you will have products which you will base your business around.

As you will be the establisher of their business on the market, your tasks will vary and include:

- Establish the local business and ensure sustainable development and growth
- Responsible for P&L of the affiliate as well as sales in Germany
- Develop local competitive short and medium term strategic, commercial, marketing, regulatory and medical affairs plans
- Recruit, develop and lead the affiliate commercial and medical team to develop and implement profitable marketing, customer and trading business models
- Develop and manage relationships with KOL's, medical, regulatory and technology appraisal bodies and other professional associations and stakeholders

This is an excellent opportunity to build up something of your own, yet have the support of people that are already a part of it in a different location.

Job requirements:

- Pharmaceutical experience - sales and marketing (specialty pharma)

-Gastroenterology is a bonus but not a must

-Line management experience
