Minimum Requirements:
Professor
- A PhD in Communication in English.
- At least 5 years lecturing experience at University level.
- 10 to 15 research publications,
Associate Professor
- A PhD in Communication in English.
- At least 5 years lecturing experience at University level.
- 8 to 10 research publications.
Senior Lecturer
- A PhD in Communication in English.
- At least 3 to 5 years lecturing experience at University level.
- At least 4 research publications.
Lecturer
- A Master’s degree in Communication in English.
- At least 1 years lecturing experience at University level.
- Experience in research is an added advantage.
Addition Recommendations:
- Experience in E- learning.
- Computer literacy in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet use.
- Experience in programme accreditation.
- Experience in curriculum development and mixed mode delivery.
Summary of Duties:
- Undertake teaching and assessment duties in communication in English.
- Undertake research activities.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- The successful candidate, if appointed as a lecturer, will be required to complete a Doctoral Degree qualification within 5 years of appointment.
