Job Details
Our client is looking for a scientist in upstream development to work at their site in Germany, you will be reporting directly to the departmental head which you colleges won't be able to do. He will be able to pass onto you his skills and knowledge and will help you career development and potentially get a promotion.

Job requirements:
PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, biology or related with relevant hands-on experience (preferably from industry) in the abovementioned areas and expert knowledge in one of the fields (chromatography, UF/DF, virus removal, formulation, scale-up, biochemical characterization)
Experienced with the Äkta system and Unicorn software (HTP liquid handling tools would be an asset)
Working experience in the application of DoE and QbD principles
Ability to judge impact of process changes to product quality (mAb)
Very good command of English, German highly beneficial
