Quality Manager - Personal Care / Health Care

Looking for a Quality Manager, our client wants somebody who has the ISO 9001 auditing experience, GMP and some Quality Management Systems exposure.

As a Quality Manager you will manage the group playing a hands on role Quality issues including CAPAs and Customer Complaints

As the Quality Manager you will maintain regulatory submissions such as CEPs and DMF's.

In addition, you will review completed batch production and laboratory control records of critical process steps before final release and sign off of an API for sale - site specific. This role has the final decision on API batch release - but does not require QP status!

Finally you will maintain and develop the site quality management system that includes, policy and arrangements for operational procedures, corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and work with non conformance's, complaint's etc.

There is the exciting prospect of managing quality related projects on site. Projects can be varied in time length from 1 to 3 years depending on depth and reach.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educated to degree level within a scientific discipline. Ideally Chemistry as this postion will work with complex chemistry or at least work across a variety of industries such as health care or personal care.

Experience with GMP and ISO 9001 is a bonus BUT not needed as this is not a GMP site. Other quality management systems experience will be welcomed. It is advantageous to have experience with COMAH, ISO 14001, IPPC, OHSAS 18001 standards

This will manage a team of 3. Having some experience of managing or mentoring would be advantageous.
