In Discovery Chemistry Modalities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for multidisciplinary project leadership, strategy and execution as well as performance management and personal development of a team of peptide and small molecule chemists. In this role, the incumbent will oversee a portfolio of projects, provide strategic guidance through direct reports and be responsible for rigorous scientific quality and pipeline progress. In addition, he/she will participate in department-level activities such as strategic direction, recruiting and resource-management. Furthermore, the incumbent will participate in cross-functional teams across the wider discovery organization and will be responsible for communication with governance and external collaborations. The successful candidate must also have excellent interpersonal, cross functional collaboration and communication skills.



- Ph.D. in chemistry/related degree


- A minimum of 8 years of industry experience in peptide drug discovery


- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in portfolio management experience in peptide drug discovery

- A minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in people management and project leadership

- Experience in peptide synthesis, purification and analytical characterization including HPLC, MS and biophysical methods

- Experience in peptide therapeutic design and drug discovery including project leadership and strategic-thinking

- Experience in communication, collaboration and leadership skills in a team environment
