Job Details
REF NO.: ENG10/2016 This position is in the area of Mechatronics, Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Systems. The incumbent will be required to teach undergraduate courses, conduct practicals, and carry out administrative duties within the Discipline. S/he will also be required to conduct research and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader: Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc(Eng) degree in Mechanical Engineering
A Masters degree in an appropriate area
Experience in either University teaching or relevant mentorship experience in an industrial or research environment
Evidence of research potential supported by current publications in DoHET accredited journals and peer reviewed conference proceedings The successful candidate will be expected to complete a PhD within 5 years of date of assumption of duty.
