My client are currently searching for a Sales & Business Development Manager in a new geographical market for the company which will be focused on the UK, so the business will need to be built from the ground-up over the next few years, meaning that you can actually build the role and the UK business around yourself and your own ideas.

My client is an international textiles company that manufacture technical textiles, and have an extensive product portfolio with applications varying from tent materials, printing fabrics and decorative applications. They are a market leader in this area and have headquarters in Europe with regional offices in the US and China, so there are opportunities to travel to other offices and manufacturing sites to liaise with regional managers there, meaning that you'll get to broaden your international experience.

You will be responsible for new business development in the UK and Irish markets, proactively approaching clients, building a business network and analysing the market for new opportunities meaning that you will be out in the field on a regular basis working with new customers, so it's a role where you won't be stuck in the office and will get to meet people face-to-face giving a high level of human interaction.

My client is looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive Sales and Business Development in the Textiles Market
  • Textiles Engineering Degree preferred
  • Strong Business to Business Sales Knowledge essential
  • Fluent English
