The Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Business Manager for Service Line, Heart, Lung & Vascular. 

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to Service Line Chief, you will be responsible as a lead for the overall management of the Service Line, which includes development and implementation of the strategic and annual plan particularly in relation to patient care services; ensuring that the service line goals and objectives are accomplished as well as the day to day operational activities of the Service Line are executed in an efficient manner. You will serve as a link between clinical and administrative areas and will coordinate educational programmes in liaison with the departments of the University. You will also be responsible to improve efficiency, maintain budgeting, develop business strategies, quality of clinical services, oversee department quality initiatives and implement quality standards as per JCIA recommended measures. You will act as an entrepreneur and will have to think out of the box.

 

Requirements

You should have:

  • Master’s degree in business administration / health administration or equivalent from a reputed university. MBBS degree will be an added advantage
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in health care administration
  • knowledge of resource management including financial management
  • good negotiation skills with knowledge of marketing 
  • ability to analyse budget variance reports and statistical data
  • ability to develop, maintain and strengthen partnership with stakeholders for the delivery of exemplary patient care services.
