We are seeking a highly motivated individual to advance research and teaching in Animal Sciences within the Biology programmes of the School of Biology, University of Leeds.  All areas of Animal Science will be considered but the successful appointee will be expected to develop their research programme in Pig Science to take advantage of the new facilities at Leeds as part of the Agritech Centre for Innovation Excellence in Livestock (CIEL).

You should have a PhD and postdoctoral experience in an Animal Science related subject, preferably with wide experience of pigs. Associated teaching may involve physiology, behaviour and welfare, health, nutrition, metabolism or applied animal science; experience of teaching undergraduates and/or post graduates will be expected.  Industry experience will also be welcomed.

The successful candidate will be embedded within the Monogastric Research Group which forms part of the broader Agrifood research community within the University of Leeds.
