Job Details
A project with Dr Clodagh Brook will focus on the place of politics in Italian cinema since the 1960s. A PhD on this theme may tackle such issues as Italian political opposition, terrorism, mafia and camorra, and Berlusconi as they are constructed with Italian cinema, although this list is by no means exhaustive. The research may also centre on particular directors known for their politics stances (Bellocchio, Pasolini, Sorrentino, Moretti, for example).
