An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and dynamic researcher to join the ECU School of Nursing and Midwifery in the role of Professor of Nursing. Providing academic leadership across the areas of clinical nursing research and practice across the University and its industry partners, this position will be based in the Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Services Research, and is an exciting opportunity to further the research agenda and performance of an already highly successful school. The Centre undertakes high impact research and boasts collaborative relationships with world-class researchers, industry leaders and clinical experts nationally and internationally, and has developed a research program that is grounded in making a real difference to people, their carers’ and families, the communities in which they live and the broader health and education sectors.

Bringing a strong track record in publications and a history of attaining grant funding to support research activity, the Professor of Nursing will also bring extensive networks and experience in clinical research and student supervision. Applicants must hold a PhD and be eligible for registration as a Nurse in Australia.
