University of Miami Miller School of Medicine invites applications and nominations for the position of Chief, Division of Geriatrics, within the Department of Medicine. The successful candidate will expand the Division’s portfolio while interacting with existing schools, departments and centers with activities in the public health and healthcare domains. Reporting to Department of Medicine leadership, the chief will oversee the Division’s clinical, research, and education affairs. Clinical activities of the Division span multiple settings. Successful candidates will possess an MD, be board-certified in Geriatrics, be eligible for a faculty appointment as a full-time Associate Professor or Professor (tenure track), and have a record of scholarly accomplishments and national recognition in health services/clinical epidemiology research. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
