As a member of the Data Management and Informatics group, which is part of the Global Science and Commercialization Technology-Analytical Chemistry in Development and Supply (GSTC-ACDS), you will be working closely with product team members (including scientists and statisticians) to provide support of high priority drug candidates for new drug submissions (e.g. IND/NDA/MAA), regulatory responses and investigations; ensuring deliverables meet tight timelines. Outcome has direct impact on successful product registrations worldwide and continuous supply of medicine to our patients.

The incumbent will need to have strong scientific knowledge with aptitude towards computer systems, excellent interpersonal skills and high level SAS programming skills (e.g. SAS/Base, SAS Macros, SAS/STAT and SAS/Graph).

This position requires the ability to work independently and work well in a highly collaborative environment as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

- BS or MS in Science/Statistics/Mathematics or related discipline with strong computer knowledge

Required Experience:

- Certified SAS programmer

- Laboratory experience/knowledge

- Three or more years of working experience

Preferred Experience:

- BS with five (5) years of experience or MS with three (3) years of experience

- Over 3 years of programming experience with analytical or clinical trial data and preparing programming and testing documentation

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a very dynamic organization with minimum supervision with good judgment and sound decision making skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to manage time and tasks in an organized and professional manner

- Prior work experience with Pharmaceutical industry is desirable

- Good understanding of computer system development life cycles, GMP, and related regulatory guidelines

- Laboratory experience and knowledge of LIMS is highly desirable

- Knowledge of other statistical tools and data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire) is desirable
