This opportunity is a healthy mix between formulations and lab work and customer contact, requiring you to visit customers, advise them on the product range and understand their applications requirements and to then work hands-on in the lab in unison with the rest of the team to develop and scale up these coatings formulations, giving you the chance to get commercial experience whilst maintaining your technical knowledge.

Responsibilites:

• Regular visits to clients in the local area and across Germany requiring about 30% travel
• Development of coatings formulations for plastics applications
• Collaboration with the sales team to provide them with technical information so they can sell to customers effectively

Requirements:

Practical Training as Lacklaborant or a Chemistry Diploma
• 4+ years of experience in development industrial coatings formulations
• Knowledge of plastics applications preffered
• Fluent German
