This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to develop from an experienced coatings developer and gain management experience, as you will have line management responsibility for a small 2 or 3 man team in the R&D department, so you will be responsible for all disciplinary, development and support issues with your team, helping you to develop your own management techniques and strategies.

The company you will be working for have just 50 employees down at their site near Freiburg which includes on-site formulations development, production and sales office, meaning that each employee is very cross-functional, so they are involved in the commercial and technical sides of the business, allowing them to develop a broad range of skills.

Responsibilites:

• Line Management of the R&D Laboratory Team of 3 employees
• Development of new formulations for Industrial Coatings Applications
• Maintaining close contact with the Technical Sales and Applications Engineers to ensure you can be reactive to customers needs and develop custom coatings on demand

Requirements:

Practical Training as a Lacklaborant or Lacktechniker or a Chemistry Degree
• 5+ years experience in development of Coatings Formulations
• Knowledge of Industrial Applications preferred
• Fluent German
