REGULATORY OFFICER - CROP PROTECTION - IRELAND - 12 month FTC
A global Far Eastern Agrochemical company with an impressive brand image has expanded rapidly over the past 12 months buying out many other agrochemical companies. In addition, it has a strong brand image within speciality chemicals using this brand to attract some of the best in the industry.
Our client is an established Japanese Agricultural company focused on a number of business areas including speciality chemicals. They offer a vast range of services across multiple industries and are continuing to expand the agrisciences division through various intermediaries and generic products.
Subsequent to European growth, our client seeks an established Regulatory Manager to head up its Agriscience division in either Belgium, German, France, Netherlands or Ireland. You will take on a strategic task and maintain a hands on approach. If you do not want to be based in Ireland, the company may support remote working from home within the EU.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Regulatory Officer, you will be responsible for:
Application for European registration for new active substances.
Application for national registration for new active substances and new formulation
Re-evaluation of existing active substances
Maintenance of registration of existing products(including label expansion)
Development support and coordination of biological trials
Related activities including (but not limited to) :
Communications with partners
Communications with regulatory authorities
Youy will work along side other regulatory team members. For those with limited experience but strength in agronomy, you will be trained and developed but must display basic regulaory crop protection experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a chemistry background or familiar with Physchem. However life sciences degree or experience is suited.
Experience in Registration of Agrochemicals/ Crop Protection essential - however how many years is undetermined.Those with just Biocides experience will be considered.
Demonstrate ability to lead or be trained and developed in this area.
A second language besides English eg (French, Spanish, German, Polish, Hungarian, etc,. ) while not essential would be helpful.
Intermediaries experience is a bonus but not needed.
