Looking to take the next step in your career?
My client is looking for a Senior/Principal Ecologist with extensive professional experience and a full member of CIEEM, to join their Cardiff team. This organisation prides itself on being proactive, fun and enthusiastic work place with a job satisfaction rate.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Manage staff and projects.
- Liaise with clients.
- Organise and supervise sub-contractors
- Undertaking field work
- Writing and editing reports
- Prepare, submit and implement European Protected Species Mitigation (EPSM) licences for bats and other protected species as required.
What are we looking for?
- A degree in a relevant discipline
- Full chartered membership with CIEEM
- Experienced in being a Named Ecologist on GCN and badger licences (and ideally bat licences also)
- Strong leadership, project management skills
- Demonstrable experience working as an ecologist in a leadership position
- In depth knowledge of the industry and professional consultancy
