Sales Specialist - Genomics and Research Diagnostics - Russia

My client, a global corporation with unique Next Generation Sequencing system is looking for a Sales and Business Development professional to work on sales and marketing strategies in Russia.

It is a great role for someone with a strong scientific background in Life Sciences (PhD/MSc) and few years of sales experience in diagnostics sector. In the position you will be part of a fast growing start up with a multi-million dollar investment to expand worldwide. Products are high end genomics and next generation sequencing systems that have no competition on the market. Therefore, you will not only have chances to develop within this growing corporation but will also get a chance to get your name out in the industry.

You daily activities will involve mapping out the market, developing business relationships with clients (laboratories, clinics, research institutes). You will be working with 2 colleagues in Russia visiting key accounts and selling the high-tech sequencing technology.

Requirements:

• Sales and business development background
• A master degree in Life Sciences or a PhD within a well-regarded institution.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience in communicating complex scientific principles in simple terms.
• Russian as mother tongue and a good knowledge of English (the business language) are required.
• Previous experience as working as part of a team to develop the company's customer base and provide a first-class experience to clients, preferably in the clinical diagnostics, biotechnology or medical technology market.
• Role is home office based in Russia, the company will provide you with home office equipment (mac, phone, printer and other necessary tools).
