Senior Electronic Engineer-Exciting full life cycle role-Medical Devices-Basel, Switzerland

Our client, a world leading medical device company are looking for a senior electronic engineer to join them in this exciting new role. This is a great opportunity to develop an innovative electronic device for sensor detection within the medical field. You will be part of the full life cycle from innovation, development, design through to regulatory affairs and documentation; leading to a varied and interesting working life.

As the senior electronic engineer in this role your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Working on the electronic design and verification of devices.
• Be one of the key project managers handling external vendors.
• Manage the documentation and compliance aspects of the device.
• Have a hands on approach to the product development and innovation.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

• Come from a strong electronic engineering background where you have progressed your career within medical devices.
• You will be product driven and appreciate a hands on approach to product development.
• You will have a good understanding of the regulatory aspects involved in registering an electronic device inclusive of knowledge of IEC 60601.
• You will be fluent in English. Fluency in German would be a bonus.
