Junior Treasurer, Guaranteed Career Progression, Basel

I currently have an opportunity with my client in the Basel area working as Financial Treasurer with a company who are expanding their finance department over the next couple of years, so they will be opening a number of more senior roles in Treasury, meaning that if you stay with them you will be almost guaranteed to progress into a higher level role as Senior Treasurer or Head of Treasury.

The company you will be working for are a privately owned chemicals company that manufacture and formulate products for leather treatment. They have a physical presence in almost 20 countries worldwide and they have strong finance functions for each of these countries, so there are a lot of opportunities as Treasurer to travel in the future and work with finance professionals in different business environments.

You will be responsible for administration of company bank accounts, credit management reporting, cash management for several European business units and a heavy focus on FX trading and management, so there's a lot of variety in the position, meaning that you will always be challenged and engaged.

My client is looking for someone with the following experience:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2 years experience in cash management
• Previous knowledge of FX trading and hedging preferred but not essential
• B2 level German and a good level of English
