An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Print and Design Solutions team for an experienced Business Developer to lead on developing the services provision and increase the market share within the university. Print & Design Solutions (PDS) is the university internal print and graphic design service with an annual income of £1.6M. PDS are responsible for delivering creative, digital and graphical services and to manage all print production and specialist print services. As Business Developer you will be an experienced, innovative and dynamic individual who will play a key role to develop the service provision and increase our market share within the university.
You will have an understanding of how working with print, digital content and multimedia, you can engage with customers to optimise their budgets and deliver their requirements. You will be required to define long-term strategic goals, build customer relationships and networks, identify business opportunities and maintain extensive knowledge of current market trends. You will have proven experience in business development; strong research and strategic analysis skills and excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage the operations of the Estimating section and build an effective collaborative working environment. You will have excellent IT skills with an enthusiastic, imaginative and proactive attitude and an aspiration to develop the service.
