Faculty of Business, Economics and Law

The aim of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) is to be a centre of excellence, providing quality education and leadership in research for the benefit of our graduates and the wider community. The Faculty incorporates the Schools of Business, Economics and the TC Beirne School of Law based at the St Lucia campus.

The BEL Faculty offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs to approximately 9000 students which allow for a wide range of specialisations or concentrations, with a high degree of relevance to employers.

UQ's BEL Faculty Marketing and Communications Team is seeking a Website and Digital Content Coordinator to produce content and maintain the TC Beirne School of Law website and online presence. 

The Role

Working with stakeholders from the School of Law, you'll plan, write, edit, maintain and publish content on the School website and social media channels. You will also be responsible for preparing digital communications and ensuring copy is current, fresh and engaging for target audiences. You will liaise with students, academics, researchers and other staff to develop stories and content to profile and position the School with current and prospective students, external audiences and the community.

The Person

Applicants should possess qualifications in relevant disciplines, such as communications, and digital marketing or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

You must have expertise in writing and editing digital content, demonstrating the ability to write for the web, with scrupulous proof-reading skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge and experience with Drupal CMS, Vision6 and Google Analytics is essential.

Previous experience in higher education or the legal sector would be highly regarded.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $62,716- $70,241p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5% (total package will be in the range $68,674 - $76,914 p.a.).
