Serve as a key member of the industry directors team to develop a regulatory strategy based on the industry and product strategy and recommend opportunities and threats. To support the growth ambition we are looking for a Regulatory manager to expand our regulatory team in the US. You will be based in the US and report into the Senior VP Food. As the regulatory manager you will utilize your industry experience and knowledge of legislation and research to build and maintain our network. You will advise a team of 3 individuals and support our industry leaders in US, Canada and Mexico.

Your responsibilities 
In your role as the Regulatory Manager at Corbion, you will achieve our goals by handling all US regulatory issues for (new and existing) food products, checking regulatory compliance by regulatory audits and steering project management of special regulatory projects. Your main tasks:

  • Checking regulatory compliance and regulatory audits for all locations and leads project management of special regulatory projects
  • Being aware of developments in Corbion Food regulatory playing field and the potential impact regulatory changes will have on the business.
  • Handling corporate quality and regulatory audits and submitting regulatory file development.
  • Expediting new products and or applications when needed in the regulatory process.
  • Representing Corbion at key industry regulatory meetings/trade associations.
  • Lobbying for opportunities to open up markets.


Your profile
Including a passion and desire to grow, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry, pharma or food science. Masters preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in food labeling regulations.
  • Strong experience in USDA/FDA, GMO and emulsifier regulations.
  • Experience in operating in an international environment.
  • Legal affinity a must. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
