My client is looking for an aspiring manufacturing manager that aims to be a site director within the next 2/3 years. This role will manage the production and engineering team and offer a clear progression plan to site director level. The site is a sterile manufacturing site for biopharma and candidates do need experience in the pharma or biotech industries.

The role really offers a good step for people who have strong experience but no clear view of the next step. This allows you the chance to utilise your experience and actually work towards the next level from day 1.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop a culture of exceptional performance, continuous improvement and customer focus within the Manufacturing team.

• Ensure activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for Quality Management and Regulatory compliance to cGMP.

• Ensure each team member of the group achieves both personal and company objectives and take necessary action to ensure talent is nurtured and recognised whilst fostering an environment that supports learning, individual development and openness to change.

• Oversee all manufacturing controllable expenses, whilst leading a continuous effort to reduce costs and report key performance measures for the Manufacturing group.

• Create a strong culture of leadership to deliver positive employee relations, establish operational effectiveness and achieve quality and operational objectives.
