Technical Editor - Medical Devices - Basel

My client, an international medical devices firm, are looking for a Technical writer to join their documentation team near the bordering city of Basel in Switzerland.

You will be joining the European team (which consists of around 10 people) who focus on all levels of documentation from marketing material to service information and user manuals. You would be working to support the director in documentation as well as working closely with departments like Regulatory Affairs and Marketing.

In return my client is willing to either train a junior candidate who is looking to expand their skills in Technical Writing or an established professional looking to make a move to another firm. This is a great opportunity for a lifescience graduate who is looking to take their first step into the industry.

Successful candidates for this role will have the following:

• Technical writing experience (ideally minimum 1 year) ideally in the med-tech industry
• Technical or Life-science background preferred
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience with XML edit, Avotec, Isodraw and Illustrator (desirable)
