Leather Technician, Market Leading Company, Mannheim, 70-80k
An exciting position with one of the market leaders for leather chemicals who supply into leather tanneries worldwide, and have one of the strongest employer profiles in this sector, so working for them makes you a highly desirable candidate with their competitors.
With a heavy customer focus, this opportunity involves travelling on a regular basis to tanneries which are spread in locations across the globe, meaning you will be out of the offices and production sites about half of your working time, ensuring that you will get a lot of diversity in location and environment.
Responsibilites:
- Working with the R&D teams on site near Mannheim to advise on custom formulations
- Regular travel to tanneries and leather manufacturers to provide technical product specifications
- Technical Service of clients worldwide
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Technical Service working with a leather chemicals company
- Fluent German and a good level of English
- Chemical formulation experience preferred but not essential
