R&D Senior Scientist - lead a team- North Yorkshire

My client a Globalpharma provider. they are looking for a senior R&D Scientist - focused on method development of products. this opportunity allow you to progress in your career you will be exposed to a variety of different drug dosages on varied scales - making you more employable to future employers also you will be tasked with leading a team of 8 - building up your managerial skillset

The position holder will be responsible for:

• Preparation & execution of analytical method transfer and validation projects ( preparation of protocols, execution of experiments and preparation reports per ICH guidelines)
• Method development and optimization
• Analytical Method and Instrumental analysis troubleshooting and investigation of deviations during execution of validation experiments
• GLP compliant
• MUST HAVE TEAM LEADING EXPERIENCE

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor in Chemistry and Msc in Analytical Chemistry
• At least 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in R&D
• Experienced in EU validation guidelines
• Advanced knowledge in HPLC, GC and bench chemistry techniques
• Excellent English knowledge, with oral and written proficiency
• PC literacy with excellent knowledge of MS office focused in Excel statistical tool (eg t-test, ANOVA) or equivalent statistical software(eg Minitab)
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with a high degree of self-motivation
• Achievement oriented, with analytical capability
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
