Health Service - Gatton
The Health Service on Gatton campus requires an experienced registered nurse for casual hours. The Health Service is open Monday to Fridays 8.30am to 4.15pm and the successful applicant would be available for casual hours supporting our permanent staff when required within these times.
The role
The successful appointee will be required to be an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, treatment and care in a primary health setting and offer nursing support to the visiting general practitioner.
The person
Applicants should possess, registered nurse degree level or equivalent, current Nursing Council of Australia registration, current Practicing certificate and current CPR certificate. Experience in General Practice or similar primary health care would be an advantage for this position.
Remuneration
This is a casual appointment at HEW level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $47.61 per hour, plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5%
