Product Steward / Regulatory Specialist - REACH registrations

Our client is an established chemical company with a leading position in a global specialty chemicals area. Having an established group reaching across global frontiers, you will operate in an EMEA visual role. • As a Regulatory specialist you will be expected to ensure the company products are in compliance with REACh, GHS, CLP and transportation regulatory guidelines. This will include hazard communication, safety data sheets and working with suppliers to ensure the materials and chemicals provided are in compliance with the necessary guidelines.
• You will be the main responsible expert for REACh registrations, supervising dossier compilation and authoring Safety Data Sheets.
• As a global point of contact for all company legal units, you will work as a compliance expert for raw materials and finished products.
• With your expertise in regulatory and global brand requirements you will advise the company on product selection and product de-selection
• As this is a replacement position of somebody who is retiring, there is a chance to receive training and development.

EXPERIENCE

• A degree in chemistry (or higher) or related areas
• Knowledge of European chemical regulations such as REACh, GHS, CLP. Ideally involved in REACh and other international chemical regulations, Classification and Labelling / CLP / GHS and Safety Data Sheets.
• Risk Assessment experience would be a bonus
• Those coming from a compliance background against REACH and/or product safety are welcome to apply and will certainly be considered.
• Fluency in English. German or French would be an asset
