30 hours per week during term time only, ongoing contract
We are looking to recruit a clinician to join our Student Counselling team, working within the integrated Student Mental Health and Wellbeing service.
The Student Counselling team support students who are experiencing emotional difficulties in relation to any aspect of their University life, to enable them to function more effectively and fulfil their personal and academic potential. The Service offers therapeutic consultations and assessments, guided self-help, group work and individual counselling within a brief, early intervention framework.
You must hold a professional level counselling or psychotherapy qualification in any modality to diploma/masters level, or equivalent. You must be accredited / registered by BACP, UKCP, BABCP or equivalent body, or in the case of a clinical or counselling psychologist, be eligible for chartering by BPS. You should be interested in working in a multi-disciplinary team and support our policy of offering primarily brief focused therapy.
