Junior Treasurer, Guaranteed Progression, Basel

My client are an international chemicals company that are currently in the process of expanding their treasury team and are looking to build this department over the next 2-4 years, which will involve opening up several positions within the department. The manager wants to source candidates internally, so you will be first in line for more senior roles offering you an almost guaranteed progression route.

Responsibilites:

• Administration of bank accounts including credit management and internal & external loan administration
• Cash management for the company's european business units
• FX trading, exposure and hedging
• Treasury reporting on cash flow, FX risk, accounts receivable/payable, working capital and liquidity
• Selection and implementation of a new Treasury Management System over the next few years

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Experience managing cash flow and credit risk
• B2 level German and a good level of English
