Global Operations Manager -Family Business-Belgium

A pharmaceutical company is looking for a Global Operations Manager to have the ultimate responsibility for all production sites of the group. You will be a part of senior management and be entrepreneurial, take initiative. The company has still a family business culture which means that communication lines are shorter and you feel more a part of the whole team.

Profile:

• Engineering or scientific Master's degree
• minimum of 8 years of active experience as Operations / Production Manager
• minimum of 5 years experience in an international production
• broad knowledge of production, planning and -flows (in a pharmaceutical environment or equivalent), and how to optimize it
• Good knowledge of the GMP guidelines, SOPs, GDP, GXP
• International experience
• Fluency in English is required, Dutch is a big advantage

You will ensure the smooth running of the daily production activities and can ensure optimum production through the effective and cost-effective deployment of people, equipment and materials. In that way you lead others and be able to use your communication/people skills. In the end you will see them develop and reach a good result because of your guidance.
