Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner to offer a range of counselling interventions (assessment and triage,1:1 work, group work, supported self help) in the service and to engage in project work relating to International Students. We would be particularly keen to recruit a counsellor who is Mandarin/Cantonese speaking.
The post holder would have responsibility for their own caseload and would work collaboratively with others to deliver group and self-help support. They would be expected to liaise with others within and outside of the university in order to support students’ psychological health and overall functioning.
The post holder must be BACP accredited (or equivalent) and have post qualification experience in both individual and group work.
We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates from black and minority ethnic groups, as these groups are currently under-represented on our Counselling Team.
Interviews will be held on 16 September 2016.
