Job Details

Library Services are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join the Arts and Social Sciences Academic Engagement team.

The post-holder will be responsible for the planning and delivery of academic engagement and subject library support within designated subjects (Historical Studies, History of Art, Religion and Theology) in the Faculty of Arts.
Responsibilities include liaison and consultation with academics and students, strategic collection development and collection management activities supporting education and research for the allocated subjects. The post-holder will lead on the design and delivery of inspirational blended information and digital literacy skills programmes embedded in curricula and informed by Faculty and School research priorities to inspire taught students and researchers to develop skills they need.

The successful candidate will have a degree and relevant postgraduate qualification in information management or substantial equivalent experience in a similar role. Relevant subject knowledge is highly desirable.
