Business Development Manager, Coatings Sector, Home-Office
This commercial business development opportunity offers a high technical focus as you will be selling to laboratory and R&D managers using your strong formulations knowledge to assure them on the benefits of the products you are selling for their applications in terms of quality, viscosity, adhesion and finish among other areas, allowing you to create more value in your sales pitches.
You will be responsible for developing new business for the company's UV curable range of coating for wood substrates with a focus on consumer furniture. The company you will be working for are one of only 30 specialist manufacturers of wood coatings across the DACH region and they are well known amongst their competitors and clients for being a technology leader in this area, producing some of the best products on the market which will allow you to sell with confidence in your product range.

- Specialise in Wood Coatings including water-based, UV curable and polyurethane 1k and 2k systems
- Focus on consumer furniture and wood flooring markets
Role Responsibilities:
- Market analysis and mapping of the European furniture market
- Proactively appraoching new clients to develop relationships and following up on business leads
- Managing contract tender & negotiation process
- Collaboration with the in-house R&D team to develop custom coating systems
- Formulating sales strategy
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years experience in the Coatings Industry
- Fluent German and business level English
- Experience of formulating UV curable water-based coatings systems
- 1 years sales experience of finished coatings products essential
