Founded in 1958, Fuzhou University is one of the national key universities that are selected into the “211 Project”, a Chinese government program for the 21st century to support 100 selected universities for their further rapid development. Eligibility
★Thousand Talents Program
Under the age of 55 for Chinese citizens, or under the age of 65 for foreign nationals
Obtained doctorate degree overseas
Worked as professors or in equivalent positions in world renowned universities or research institutions overseas
Achieved world-class research skills
The duration of employment is 3-5 years, with a minimum working period of 6 months per year at the university for long-term project and 2 months for short-term project. The minimum working period for foreign experts is 9 months per year.
★Thousand Talents Program for Young Talents
Under the age of 40
Obtained doctorate degree overseas with at least 3 years of research experience overseas
Had a formal teaching or research position in well-known overseas universities, research institutions or industrial research and development centers
Achieved outstanding research results among peers
Full-time working in the University after recruitment
★Cheung Kong Scholars Program
Under the age of 45 for applicants in the field of natural science and engineering; under the age of 55 for applicants in the field of humanities and social science
Worked as associate professors or in equivalent positions in world renowned universities or research institutions overseas
Have the capacity for core curriculum teaching tasks with research achievements internationally recognized
The duration of employment is 5 years
Full-time working in the University after recruitment
★Hundred Talents Program of Fujian Province
Under the age of 55
Worked as associate professors or in equivalent positions in world renowned universities or research institutions abroad
At least 3 years of working experience abroad
★Distinguished Professor of Minjiang Scholars Program
Under the age of 45 for applicants in the field of natural science and engineering; under the age of 50 for applicants in the field of humanities and social science
Worked as assistant professors or in equivalent positions in top universities or research institutions
At least 1 year of study or working experience overseas
★Qishan Scholars Program of Fuzhou University
Under the age of 35
Obtained doctorate degree overseas
At least 2 years of study or working experience overseas, those who have returned must apply within one year.
