We are seeking a talented scientist to join our Immunology Discovery team. This position is charged with providing strong scientific support to aid the discovery and development of novel immune-based therapeutics.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implementation of in vitro and ex vivo (human and rodent) studies understand mechanism of action of experimental biologics drugs.

- Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of in vivo translational models and provide a high level of technical support for various projects and programs

- Development of primary cell-based assays using human tumors and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes

- Development of flow cytometry-based assays including multiparametric analysis, cell sorting and molecular analysis of the sorted cells.

- Data collection, statistical analysis of large datasets and report generation.

- Attend team meetings, deliver clear and well-articulated presentations and be an active participant in discussions.

- Ability to balance execution of tasks required to accomplish goals while maintaining an environment of scientific curiosity and open idea exchange.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

- BS or MS in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, oncology, or related field plus more than 3 year experience working in a research laboratory setting.

Required:

- Experience in rodent procedures.

- Proficient in basic bio-methodology techniques, anesthesia, physiological monitoring, dosing, implantation, and tissue sample collection.

- Experience in running immunoassays, flow cytometry, ELISA, primary human and mouse cell cultures.

- Experience in molecular biology techniques.

Preferred:

- A good understanding of immunological concepts especially in tumor immunology and/or autoimmune inflammation is desirable.

- Previous experience in immune monitoring and/or analysis of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes.

- Previous experience in antibody drug discovery and working with human, non-human primate and

- murine tissues.

- Highly detail-oriented with excellent record keeping skills.

- A recognized team player with excellent communication skills.
