KA/139356/4 - Account Manager LifeSciences - Part Time Position - Bern & Western Switzerland

An expanding diagnostics company with an ever changing lifesciences product portfolio are searching for a hands on and commercially driven individual to take on the position of an Account Manager for the Bern region and Suisse Romande.

As an Account Manager, you will be working with a dynamic portfolio of lifescience and laboratory products which brings a lot of variety to your working day. You will be expected to build up the territory across the Western region of Switzerland (Neuchatel, Lausanne, Geneva etc.) whilst also maintaining the client base currently operating across Bern. This is a small company so as well as account management, your role will also include other aspects including marketing, product management and some aspects of supply chain.

This company offer personal training and a close working relationship with the Sales Manager. You will be working with a wide product portfolio designed for laboratories, clinical and hospitals across Switzerland.

Key Requirements for this Account Manager position for lifescience products include:

  • Fluency in English and French. German is highly beneficial.
  • At least 2 years of diagnostics/laboratory experience
  • A strong educational background working with the laboratory environment is essential
  • Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential
  • The ideal candidate will already be based in the Swiss French cantons or have the ability to relocate.
  • Previous experience with selling healthcare IT software is beneficial but not essential.
  • This position is available at 60-80%, therefore candidates must be available for a part time position.

Please note that candidates without fluency in Germany will be considered for this position at a maximum of 60%.
