Job Description
As Advisor Student Recruitment you will be responsible for the development, execution and evaluation of the marketing & communications plan student recruitment FPN. The tasks of this position consist of among others:

Developing a marketing & communications plan student recruitment, that effectively supports our ambitions in strengthening our student population

Monitoring and driving the implementation of the marketing & communications plan student recruitment

Coordinating and organising student recruitment activities

Evaluating the effectiveness of the student recruitment activities using qualitative and quantitative research methods

Representing Maastricht University at (inter)national student recruitment fairs and events

Creating and presenting student recruitment related presentations (e.g. to students, teachers, parents)

Planning and conducting personal appointments with prospective students
-
Liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g. Managing Director, Programme Directors and Course Coordinators)

Being an active member of UM-wide tactical groups for student recruitment (e.g. bachelor or master recruitment, country focus team)

What are we expecting from you?
You thrive in an international work environment in a dynamic role with many responsibilities. You’re not afraid to challenge the process and relevant stakeholders. You have an academic education level with an educational background in Marketing and/or Communications. You have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and you have an affinity with secondary education and student recruitment. You are prepared to travel (inter)nationally on a regular basis and are in command of the Dutch and English language (written and spoken).

Conditions
The appointment (0,8 fte) will be for the period of 1 year. With shown suitability after 1 year this contract will be changed to a permanent contract. With internal candidates their current contract period will be maintained.
Salary scale: the position of Advisor Student Recruitment Faculty is ranked as Communications Advisor 3 (UFO profile), salary scale 10, which means a salary between €2651 - € 3642 per month for a full-time position
