Clinical Trial Associate

The Leeds Institute of Rheumatic & Musculoskeletal Medicine (LIRMM) conducts single and multi-centre clinical trials covering a number of musculoskeletal diseases. Most trials use investigational medicinal products.

We are looking for a clinical trial associate to join our team to undertake all aspects of study monitoring and some elements of data management for our in-house trials. The successful appointee will work closely with trial co-ordinators, data management and clinical academics.

This post is available immediately on a part-time of full time basis with a minimum 60% full time equivalent . You will have at least a science degree or equivalent relevant qualification, eg nursing, or considerable relevant experience eg monitoring, trial data management or trial co-ordination. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of clinical trials and ICH GCP, preferably gained from a background as a Clinical Trials (or research) Associate or Data Manager.

You will work with attention to detail and have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and presentational); computer experience and reliability are also essential. You may be required to visit participating centres so a full, valid driving licence and own transport is desirable.
