- Designs and performs studies directed at late stage development and validation of assays and methods supporting Merck’s biologics pipeline and inline products.
- As above for Vaccines.
- Perform lab based testing as required.
- Involved in and may lead design and execution of method transfers to Merck global network of biologics and vaccines nodes. Travel as required (up to 20%).
- Project management potential
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Bio - Engineering, bio –related science or related-field with a three (3) years of relevant experience in biologics or vaccine method development, plus validation; or Master's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience; or a recent Ph.D. with no experience.
Required Experience:
- Experience with some of the following techniques:
- ELISA
- Glycan analysis
- Chromatography
- Electrophoresis
- Peptide mapping
- LC/MS
- Bioassay
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in biopharm with large molecule (antibody and or vaccine) experience.
