Laboratory Manager, Wet-End Leather Chemicals, 70-80k
As Laboratory Manager you will me responsible for all development projects, managing up to 8 laboratory staff with direct responsibility for 3 people whilst also being hands on with new developments by assisting the R&D team in feasibility studies, sourcing of raw materials and managing successful projects through to pilot-plant scale up.
The company you will be working for specialise in the development and manufacture of of fat-liquors for leather treatment. They invest heavily in new technology for leather treatment, so they are ahead of their competitors in terms of product offering in fat-liquors and wet-end leather chemicals, allowing them to be one of the most dominant players in the market.

Responsibilites:
- Management of the laboratory including direct management of 3 employees
- Hands-on development of new formulations
- Purchasing of raw materials
- Quality control, testing and safety data sheet administration
Requirements:
- 8 years experience in development of fat-liquors
- Previous team leadership experience
- Degree in Chemistry preferred
- German fluent
