Job Details
The Centre for Deaf Studies located in the Wits School of Education is seeking to appoint a suitable candidate to the position of Provincial Coordinator in Mpumalanga to lead the operations of its flagship project: Hi Hopes.
Applicants need to have:
- Experience in project or NGO management (recommended)
- Excellent people and computer skills
- Experience in the field of paediatric hearing loss.
The applicant should ideally have a degree or equivalent qualification in:
- Early Childhood Speech Therapy/Audiology, Deaf Education Special Education or equivalent
Position entails:
- administration of the provincial operations;
- managing referrals of families
- communication and marketing within the province
- setting up training and continued training of interventionists
- quality control in the province
- engagement with the national office
