We are seeking a HR Generalist, Medical Imaging based in Santa Clara, CA. This is a temporary assignment with the opportunity to convert to full time PerkinElmer employment.

Position Overview
In the role of Human Resource Generalist, you will serve as the first point of contact with employees and managers related to problem solving and consultation. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, compensation, training, performance management, employee relations and termination. This position reports to the Global Director of Human Resources for the Medical Imaging business unit and is located in Santa Clara, California.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
 
 
  • Provides counsel to management on employee relations issues; investigates and resolves employee concerns
  • Recruits all exempt and nonexempt positions including sourcing, job posting, interviewing, conducting reference checks and extending offers
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary action
  • Delivers HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Identifies training needs and assists with the development of training programs
  • Communicates benefits Open Enrollment and answers ongoing benefits questions
  • Interfaces with corporate payroll
  • Manages reward & recognition program and leads the Employee Reward and Recognition Committee
  • Responsible for managing leave of absence processes and communications
  • Presents HR material at All Employee Meetings
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Partners with employment legal as needed
  • Assists with the review, development, and/or communication of policies and procedures
  • Recommends and makes process improvement enhancements
  • Other duties as assigned
