Job Details
The University of Bristol is seeking to appoint a Full Time Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach to work within the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health’s Performance Sport Team.
The successful candidate will lead and deliver a Strength and Conditioning programme for our Performance Squad, Performance Clubs and Kick Start Clubs. The programme will be athlete centred and will be delivered in an integrated way with other key stakeholders within the Performance Team. The ability to communicate effectively whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver improved performance to athletes and teams is essential.
The programme will be professional, educational and contribute to the wider development of the division’s work, particularly in relation to delivering our strategic aim of being a top 10 ranked University within the BUCS league table.
This is a new role for the Division and the successful candidate will need to show high levels of enthusiasm, passion, and be self-motivated in this area of work to deliver in an innovative way to all athletes. The role will require a BSc Degree in Sports Science or Strength and Conditioning or equivalent work experience, as well as the UKSCA accreditation or evidence of working towards it.
