Director of Tennis

In partnership with the LTA, we are seeking an outstanding individual to lead a whole-sport strategy for the development of Tennis. Focused on the University community, and with additional opportunities to develop the sport in Bristol, this post will be the driving force behind our desire to completely transform our Tennis offer.

The Director of Tennis will have responsibility for budget management, marketing, ensuring optimum utilisation and participation rates, all elements of customer relationship management and the management of a University Tennis Co-ordinator, team of coaches and volunteers. With significant autonomy they will also be responsible for creating player, coach and volunteer pathways and for modernising the approach to coaching and development in order to achieve long term success.

Partnership working will be vital, as will the ability to secure and manage additional funding streams. Success in the role will mean a complete review, development of a strategy, and delivery of a step-change in Tennis for the University and our community.
