As a key part of the R&D team you will be responsible for maintaining product quality through accurate colour measurements and matching for over 400 tinting systems and will be working with a huge product portfolio including acqueous (solvent and water-based) and 100% solid 2k systems for the Architectural, Flooring, Wood, Deco, Marine and DIY markets, which guarantees you will be consistently challenged in your role.

With a Research & Development team of 12 people in which includes the Laboratory Manager and 11 hands-on developers you will be a key member of the department and will be highly visible to your team members and the Chief Technology Officer who is responsible for this department and all technical aspects of the company, meaning that you are much more likely to benefit from your hard work.

The company you will be working for develop their own range of coatings systems as well as a number of white-label products for Do-It-Yourself businesses who constantly change their product portfolio to suit their customers demands. As a result, there is a consistent pipeline of new R&D projects for custom formulation ensuring that the R&D team is always kept busy and engaged in their work.

Requirements:

• Training as Lacklaborant
• Minimum 2 years R&D experience working with aqueous coating systems
• Strong knowledge of colour matching software and hardware techniques
• Fluent German
