The Best Principal Medical Writer Role Ever

Well, maybe not. After all there are probably a few lucky people working as medical writers in home based roles from tropical islands or some kind of pastoral paradise. And for all that recruiters love to write adverts that claim their job is the best ever, the likelihood is that they're all pretty similar. So in the spirit of good faith, this advert is for a really quite good company based in London that is looking for a medical writer because you're really hard to find whilst being essential cogs in the med comms machine.

This agency is very strong on the digital media side of the industry, so this role will be a mix of online digital content (Can you have online analogue content? Answers on a postcard - or job application, preferably) and more traditional publication planning, slide kits and the like. The company is very well branded and up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry. They are based in Central London, close to a number of major stations and rail connections. Probably not the best if you're based south of the Thames, but not worth discounting if you're happy to commute up to 45 minutes. The role is at Senior Medical Writer level and there will be the potential for you to take on a small team of writers and step up a management role. So overall, this isn't a bad job. Like I said, it's not the best thing ever. It can't make tea for you, it won't make you better looking and it won't make you better in bed. But if you are a medical writer looking for something new, you could do worse.

To be considered for this position it will be necessary to have a background working as a medical writer at a medical communications agency.
