Technical Project Manager, Construction Adhesives, Munich

As technical project manager you will be managing a fresh development project for a new technology which my client are hoping to bring to the market for Construction Adhesives. The position will involve in-depth feasibility studies, extensive work with a functional project team from R&D, Marketing and Business Development as well as hands-on development work in the laboratory meaning you will get a huge amount of variety in your role.

The company you will be working for are on of the market leaders for industrial adhesives and chemical fastening worldwide with a business worth over $2bn per year and they are one of the best known players in the market.   • Develop, formulate and manufacture 2k systems based upon polurethane
  • Team of 14 for the area you will be joining including PhD Chemists, Lab Workers and Applications Engineers

Responsibilites:

  • Managing a development project over the next 3-5 years
  • Managing a multi-disciplinary project team from R&D, Marketing and Technical Service
  • Feasability studies, raw material sourcing, and hands-on lab work to develop a new chemical fastening system
  • Plant scale-up and supervision of prototype testing
  • Participating in the development of technology roadmaps and monitoring market trends

Requirements:

  • 3 experience in R&D of 2k polyurethane adhesive systems
  • Minimum of a Masters in Chemistry
  • Project Management experience preferred but not essential
  • Fluent German
