Test Engineer/Technician - Electronics - Lifesciences

My client, a highly reputable and very well known life-sciences firm, is looking for a technician to join their production team as a test engineer near the beautiful and quaint city of Karlsruhe.

This is a great opportunity for test engineers looking to develop experience in the technical field. This role would mainly be focused on checking products and conducting final inspections before the products go out onto the market.

This opportunity will start with you checking smaller devices. These checks tend to take a few days. Later on in this position you will have the opportunity to develop into a role that is testing and checking much bigger and much higher risk products as well.

This company has just hired a junior candidate for this position and is therefore looking for a someone with a little more experience. They would be happy to offer training and development at the beginning but the candidate would need to bring a similar form of experience with them. The development opportunities are endless with this company though as they are constantly looking for people and with the more skills you gain in the future, the better the opportunity for you within the business.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Training or studies in electrical engineering / electronics
• Comprehensive technical expertise in the testing of measuring systems
• Confident in dealing with all major PC operating systems
• Fluent German and English

Although professional experience is highly desirable, my client is also willing to look at recent graduates, or PhD students, that are looking at long term careers within the industry.
